Euro Cup Winners and Stats (1960 to 2021)

UEFA EURO Cup  is often called as Mini-World Cup. It is loaded with European heavyweights who are also the favorites in FIFA World Cup. It was started in 1960. It is officially know as UEFA European Championship where the selected countries from Europe fight for the championship.

The first edition was won by Soviet Union defeating Yugoslavia by 2-1 in the year 1960. Portugal are the defending champions of this tournament winning against France with the shorelines of 1-0 in the year 2016.

Michel Platini of France is the player with most goals in a single tournament with 9 goals in his name in the 1984 edition in which France defeated Spain by 2-0 in the championship final.
